(Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant – Integrated Facilities Management)
Company Overview:
MST Facilities Sdn Bhd is an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) company providing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), HVAC, and engineering maintenance services to multinational corporations, industrial facilities, and critical environments across Malaysia.
We are looking for motivated and hands-on HVAC / Mechanical Facilities Technicians to support the operation and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Position Title: HVAC / Mechanical Facilities Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah

Position Summary:
You will be responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections of HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our customer's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out repair works.
  • Conduct routine inspections and report equipment abnormalities.
  • Assist with equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency maintenance when required.
  • Complete maintenance records, service reports, and checklists.
  • Follow safety procedures, Permit-to-Work (PTW), and company policies.
  • Work closely with Engineers, Supervisors, customers, and subcontractors to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Equipment Exposure:
You will have opportunities to work on a variety of facility systems, including:
  • Chillers.
  • Air Handling Units (AHU).
  • Fan Coil Units (FCU).
  • Cooling Towers.
  • Pumps and Motors.
  • Ventilation and Exhaust Systems.
  • Mechanical Piping Systems.
  • Other HVAC and building mechanical equipment.
  • Air Scrubber Systems'.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent in:
    • Mechanical Engineering.
    • HVAC / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
    • Building Services.
    • Facilities Maintenance.
    • Electrical or related technical disciplines.
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical maintenance, facilities management, or industrial maintenance.
  • Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, hospital, or cleanroom environments is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates or fresh technical certificate holders are encouraged to apply.
Technical Knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Able to carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Able to use common maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Able to read simple technical drawings or manuals is an added advantage.
Added Advantage:
  • SKM certification.
  • CIDB Green Card.
  • NIOSH Safety Training.
  • Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
