SENIOR FACILITIES MANAGER
Location: Petaling Jaya/Klang, Selangor | Integrated Facilities Management
MST Facilities Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of a major Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract. The facilities comprise advanced automated warehouse operations, multi-tenanted logistics facilities and multinational/global brand occupiers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the IFM contract, covering M&E, HVAC, electrical, civil & structural, building services and outsourced soft services including janitorial, landscaping and handyman services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall IFM service delivery and ensure compliance with customer requirements, SLA/KPI and statutory obligations.
- Act as the key interface between MST, customer representatives, tenants, contractors and service providers.
- Lead the facilities management team and coordinate engineering, building services and site operations.
- Oversee performance of outsourced janitorial, landscaping and handyman service providers.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and ensure timely completion.
- Review service performance, work orders, maintenance reports, incidents and customer complaints.
- Drive HSE, operational reliability, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead emergency response, incident management and business continuity activities.
- Manage contractors, vendors, budgets, quotations and improvement projects.
- Prepare monthly operational, financial, SLA/KPI and management reports.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years' relevant facilities management experience, with proven management/supervisory experience.
- Experience in industrial, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, semiconductor, commercial or MNC facilities is preferred.
- Experience managing multi-site or multi-tenanted facilities is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of M&E and building services.
- Proven experience managing outsourced service providers and contractors.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Malaysian statutory and HSE requirements.
- Facilities Management or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
